Review of Only for The Week By Natasha Bishop

BLURB:

You are cordially invited to the wedding of Amerie Cross and Arnold Hightower.

And now a toast from the maid of honor, Janelle Cross!

Hi everyone, thank you for being here.

Some of you may know me as the sister of the bride.

Some of you may know me as the ex-girlfriend of the groom.

But I’m willing to bet none of you know me as the woman secretly sleeping with the best man.

I am.

I know, I’m just as surprised as you.

It was only supposed to be for the week; but every kiss, adventure, and stolen moment with Rome Martin feels like it could last forever.

Oh well. What happens in Tulum stays in Tulum.

Right?

MY THOUGHTS:

I absolutely adored this book, and I haven’t had this much fun reading in a while. Considering I’ve already delved into 22 books this year, that’s saying something! I stumbled upon this gem without any prior knowledge, not even from TikTok buzz. I simply downloaded it on Kindle Unlimited and was immediately hooked. This is definitely one of my top reads so far. Have I been saying that a lot lately? Well, maybe, but this one deserves a solid five stars. I loved the portrayal of friendship, sisterhood, and romance throughout the book. I found myself laughing and swooning over Rome! Rome is now officially my new book crush. I need a ROME MARTIN in my life! Out of all the romance books I’ve read this year, he has accidentally stolen the show. Natasha Bishop did an amazing job with this story, beautifully capturing each character. I was captivated from start to finish. The forbidden romance element was so alluring, and it brought to mind the movie “The Best Man” with its playful banter between friends and wild romance. I’ve made a mental note to explore more of Natasha Bishop’s work this year.
