Romance Books I Loved This Month: (April)

I’ve been exploring different genres, but there’s something about romance books that continues to capture my heart, and I’m absolutely fine with that. There’s a special charm in visualizing the story unfold in my mind, witnessing the characters come to life, and experiencing every embrace while smiling at each flirty remark. It’s enjoyable, uplifting, and serves as a delightful escape from reality. I’m truly drawn to a good romance book, although I tend to steer clear of dark romance. While I have read books like “Haunting Adeline” and “The Ritual,” sometimes the darkness feels a bit overwhelming. It’s important to be in the right mood for such reads. I’m a big fan of spicy romance books, but with the perfect balance – erotica can be a bit too much for me at times. I appreciate romance writers who understand the importance of crafting well-balanced stories. Currently, I’m immersed in an ARC of “The Royal Retelling,” and I’m loving it! It reminds me a lot of “A Cinderella Story,” which is a favorite of mine, especially because it starred Hilary Duff (love her!). While there’s no spice in it, the book provides the delightful escape that I cherish.

Here’s a list of romance books I’ve read this month that took up prime real estate in my head:

Catch and Keep by Erin Hahn (Pub date is Oct 15, 2024)

The Oath by Tati Richardson (Erotica)

This Spells Love by Kate Robb

A Worthy Love by A.E. Valdez

Royal Retelling (Pub Date is May 14, 2024)

I hope you get to read some of the stories too! Tell me about your favorite romance reads from this month. I’d love to check them out!
