A Postpartum Journal For The New Mom

Journaling is one of my favorite pastimes. I found that keeping a journal during my pregnancy and during my postpartum healing extremely therapeutic. I created a postpartum journal with over 60 writing prompts and decided to share it with other Mama’s who like me, are experiencing postpartum depresison and anxiety. Not only is it inspired by the From The Garden of Eden Series currently going on every Tuesday on the blog, but It is a printable PDF download on ETSY! I decided to go with a digital download because it is easily accessible. You can print it out in the comforts of your own home and place it in a binder. You can add stickers, your favorite quotes, anything you like! You can even save this journal to pass it down to your little one.

There are several writing prompts that touch upon bonding with your baby, having a support system, motherhood, healing and postpartum depression. There are sections that allow you to connect with the not so pretty feelings we have during postpartum as well. I hope you have fun with it. Honestly, that’s what I wanted new moms to take from it as well. I know as new moms it is hard to find the time for ourselves, which is why some of the prompts should not take more than five minutes to complete. I got you Mama.
